The big  names were nowhere to be seen on Sunday.  Keegan Bradley and Jason Dufner did create some exciting golf at the PGA Champioship.

A Charity Golf Event is a Great Place to Do Business

The Golf course is always a great place to do business, but there is a bigger payoff when it is a charity event.  He is a picture of the 10th Annual Golf Tourney at the Wild Dunes Harbor Golf course.  The event was sponsored by my all time favorite restaurant, "Wild Wing Cafe".

Finally got back on the golf course yesterday, yes.  Home in time to watch the Saints. Yes!!

Can't Wait To Get Back On The Golf Course Tomorrow!

It's been 3 weeks since I've teed up. Can you believe that?

It's been too cold, and my daughter came to visit me, and I've got plenty of excuses. Yada yada.

But tomorrow all that changes. I'll be back on my home course again! Tee time is 8:24 a.m. and I just bought a couple dozen fresh golf balls to lose!

There may be people who mistakenly think that this is the kind of stuff that makes golf so much fun, but we all know better!

Too rainy to play golf

The rain from yesterday and last night is making it to wet too play golf......
But it is a great day to watch college football especially the REAL national championship as the SEC Championship game.

16 Balls for the back nine.

So I get out of the office to tee off around 6p. The weather is great for the early evening back 9.

Go to the 10th tee. Tee it up, not a bad drive although it looks like it rolled out of the fairway. Two off the first tee.....wap I hit the white tee marker. Send it flying, can't find ball 2. This continue thru out that nine. In the water in the water again. Off a rock into the water.

Get to 17, two balls left in the bag..... Over the water with the drive (3 wood, the driver long since given up), next shot aquaman again. Over the water, bogey the 17th. 3wood over the water on 18, 's drive, short of the green with the second, on in three, sink the putt, par!

I guess that's why we play there is always a par hiding out somewhere.
